We are seeking a Controller to support accounting operations within a manufacturing environment in the Mankato, MN area. The ideal candidate brings strong corporate accounting experience, sound judgment, and the ability to oversee document-related processes with a high level of precision. Responsibilities:

• Oversee core accounting activities and help ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and aligned with company standards.

• Manage document control practices by organizing, tracking, and maintaining business and accounting records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.

• Coordinate scanning and digitization of paper files to create reliable electronic records and improve document accessibility.

• Review compiled documentation for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification before filing or distribution.

• Support compliance efforts by maintaining record retention practices and preparing documentation for internal or external review.

• Partner with operational and administrative teams to gather, organize, and reconcile supporting documents tied to financial activities.

• Monitor documentation workflows and recommend practical improvements that strengthen consistency and reduce processing delays

• At least 7 years of experience in accounting, controllership, or a related financial leadership role.
• Demonstrated background in corporate accounting within a structured business environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with document control, records organization, and high-volume document scanning processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify accuracy across financial and administrative documentation.
• Proficiency in compiling, reviewing, and maintaining records in both physical and digital formats.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
