Position: Safety/Traffic Controller
Schedule: M-F (9-10am) (3:30-4:30pm) 
Location: Castle Elementary 
Start date: ASAP
Pay Scale: $1700 Stipend/Trimester
Summary:
Safety/Traffic Controllers are needed to help re/direct in and outgoing traffic, regulate flow of pedestrian crossing and parking lots. This is a temporary position for the 2025-2026 school year. 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:










  • Ensure the safety of students, staff and motorists by directing traffic and pedestrian flow
  • Identify safety hazards
  • Collect information on vehicles that violate traffic rules
  • Other duties as assigned by building administration
  • Partner with school administration and district transportation 


Required Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or some college
  2. Reliable attendance and punctuality
  3. Effective communication skills

  1. Ability to handle detailed information accurately.
  2. Ability to maintain the security and privacy of all information, transactions and discussion of sensitive topics.
  3. Considerable ability to work under pressure and address safety concerns as needed.
