We’re looking for an excellent Account Executive to collaborate with clients and our internal team to optimize growth for digital and print advertising, create and expand new revenue opportunities, and overall be at the forefront of initiating and nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients, especially for our well-attended annual conference. Reports To: Managing Sales Director
Group: Communications
Compensation Range: $45,000 base pay annually plus earned commission.

Who we’re looking for:

C.A.R. seeks an outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our team. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who’s a creative thinker to work in true partnership with a well-established voice in the real estate industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Within our award-winning magazine, websites, and e-media channels, you’ll sell print and digital advertising space.

  • Generate exhibit booth and sponsorship sales for our well-established annual trade show.

  • Reach and surpass short and long-term revenue targets.

  • Expertly navigate sales conversations and offer creative solutions to objections.

  • Seek out new business and present new revenue-generating opportunities to existing vendors.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.

  • Participate in a highly collaborative team with a strong sense of purpose and mission.

  • Travel to conferences, trade shows, and in-person client meetings as needed.

  • Identify, research, and implement new growth areas for sales using smart thinking, creativity, and focus to bring consistent and elevated results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years media and/or event sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience selling media communications such as digital ads, print, etc.

  • Tradeshow background.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral, written, presentation, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of contact management database.
