Our well-established and growing financial services firm in Carlsbad, CA is seeking to add a Planning Support Specialist to our Team. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the industry long-term, pays attention to detail, cares for our clients consistently, is passionate about quality and contributes to the pursuit of our core values and goals.

Our office strives to provide excellent service to our prospects and clients seeking a partner in their financial future and more specifically retirement. This new team member should have an eagerness to help others, like us.

Training:

Training will be provided for this new team member with the Chief Advisor and support team.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years of Administrative office experience in a fast-paced environment

• Financial Industry experience preferred, but not required

• Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite

• RedTail CRM experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

As a liaison between our advisors, prospects and clients, the Planning Support Specialist executes their individual focus on gathering all required paperwork and information necessary for analysis. In concert with our advisors, the Planning Support Specialist will utilize websites and software tools to assemble a customized retirement defense plan taking care to ensure the goals of our clients are paramount. The Planning Support Specialist will work closely with the New Business Specialist to grow our business, review and prep the team for client reviews, and work with support staff and outside service providers regularly.

This position requires that you possess the following skills:

• Ability to prioritize projects and manage time

• Savvy customer service to include excellent communication both verbal and written

• Strong follow-through

• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, proactive and resourceful

• Reliable with exceptional work ethic

• Flexibility to contribute as part of a team as well as independently

• Ability to demonstrate persistence and initiative to achieve quality

• Friendly, professional phone manner and enjoys working with a variety of clients

• Good-natured, positive attitude

Additional Information:

Dedication to the accurate completion of and detailed follow-through with all client on-boarding and account paperwork is key. Necessary information and confirmation at every level of processing may be required from multiple sources; hence the ability to discern and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment is also needed. We are a full-service customer-centric firm. A positive attitude and initiative are welcome in this lively office. Salary is dependent on qualification and experience.
