We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our clients' team as a Data Organization Training and Development Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to understand and enhance our Firm's Document Management System (DMS), Case Management Software, and Microsoft Add-Ins. As a resident specialist in Kansas City, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our staff is effectively trained on these systems to support the goals of our Data Organization. Responsibilities:
- Analyze data requirements outlined by the Data Organization to develop comprehensive training plans.
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with new timekeepers and support staff to ensure understanding and proficiency in relevant systems and best practices.
- Track and manage completion of required training plans for new hires, escalating issues as necessary.
- Develop training materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, and eLearning modules.
- Create value-added presentations to guide business leaders in adopting best practices aligned with strategic training goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on data management best practices to end users.
- Analyze adoption rates of best practices across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to peers on data needs, process changes, and technical implementations.
- Prepare assessment plans and training materials for software roll-outs, upgrades, and new deployments.
- Design User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and scenarios, and support their execution.
- Develop short-term training solutions for any post-go-live issues.
- Create feedback mechanisms to analyze initial go-live findings and guide future software releases.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned in support of Data Governance initiatives at Littler.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in software training and developing training plans in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Proven ability to create training materials and instructional courses aligned with best practices and workflows.
- Experience providing live or video training sessions for timekeepers and support staff.
- Familiarity with Document Management Systems, Case Management Software, Microsoft Suite, and Document Repositories.
- Understanding of Data Governance, Compliance, and Data Management concepts.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex communication and training plans with attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of three years of experience developing training solutions for law firms or professional services companies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10% of time).
Prior Litigation Paralegal experience and SCORM or xAPI compliance certification are considered advantageous.
