Job Description
The HR Manager oversees all the personnel and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources (HR) department. This position is a highly visible leadership role and is responsible for the hiring, onboarding, relationship management and offboarding of all employees. The HR Manager will also handle and resolve all employee and labor relations matters, investigate employee complaints, make recommendations to senior management for resolutions, create and maintain HR policies and procedures. This position reports to the HR Director and regularly communicates with the C-suite team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the recruitment process, which includes, job posting, interviews, hiring and onboarding for all new hires.
- Oversees personnel employment process, ensures timely processing.
- Creates and maintains policies and procedures for the Human Resources department.
- Conducts labor investigations and documents findings and recommendations report.
- Works closely and meets with other department heads regularly to align on HR support needs for each department.
- Oversees Payroll processing, including biweekly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
- Oversee Benefits Program and inform employees when eligible.
- Creates and launches our Monthly Newsletter
- Travels to nearby work sites to provide HR support as needed.
- Handles employee relations matters and conflict resolution.
- Implements performance management technology solutions and other systems needed to effectively manage the high growth of the company.

- Creates and manages analytics dashboard showing key KPIs for HR (i.e., turnover rate, cycle time for hiring, employee satisfaction, etc.)
- Compiles and organizes reports for the Human Resources department.
- Creates and maintains all job descriptions.
- Conducts market salary surveys and makes recommendations based on data analysis.
- Makes recommendations for work force planning, employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Documents standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business workflows.
- Assists the HR Director with implementing company-wide trainings.
- Performs exit interviews and oversees the offboarding process for all exiting employees.
- Coordinates efforts with the Director of Human Resources.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Expert with MS Office suite
- Ability to understand statistical data and mathematical concepts and how to apply them to HR processes
- Excellent leadership, training and developmental skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations
- Ability to comprehend complex language, theories and methodologies
- Time management and organizational skills
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains all new employees for the Human Resources department.
- Manages performance of the HR team and has regular one-to-ones with direct reports.
- Manages timekeeping and reviews PTO requests for direct reports.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a HR leadership role.
- Professional HR Certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel to nearby work sites on a weekly basis.
Pay: Starting at $80,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
