Senior Cash Services Analyst

Assist with the processing, application, review of tenant and non-tenant payments for all properties and company entities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, open and scan mail related to cash payments received from tenants and non-tenants and other company entities. Scan manual invoices from non-sufficient fund checks, checks and credit memos into computer system.
• Process incoming checks Ensure the daily and accurate processing of all monies coming into the company; both electronic funds (ACH / Wire / Credit Card) and checks.
• Perform calculations and prepare deposit slips/spreadsheets for checks received.
• Perform data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide information to company personnel regarding cash applied to accounts, including lease agents, collections personnel and property management personnel.
• Process online credit card payments.
• Process submitted cash spreads through appropriate software.
• Set up ACH’s in bank.
• Download daily transaction data from the bank to be input into the system.
• Make sure appropriate backup is scanned in with all transactions.
• Manage NSF process in terms of both proper system application and tenant notification.
• Ensure the daily and accurate processing of all monies coming into the company; both electronic funds (ACH / Wire / Credit Card) and checks.
• Prepare daily cash reports and circulate.
• Other related projects as needed.

Experience / Qualifications

• 2+ years in a clerical accounting position
• 2+ years’ experience in handling cash application
• Experience using bank lockbox services and/or electronic tenant portal is preferred
• 2 year business/accounting degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable in computer data entry.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $27.00 Hourly
