Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 Annually DOE, bonus eligible

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to join our team at the new and soon to be opening Staybridge Suites located in Sacramento, CA. This person will grow existing accounts for the hotel and generate new business to ensure that property revenues are meeting or exceeding goals. The Director of Sales will lead all sales efforts and sales related activities at the property.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Meets and exceeds revenue goals by developing new accounts and growing current hotel accounts, maintaining accounts & contributing to the overall profitability of the Hotel operation.
  • Effectively move share from competitor hotels to Midas hotel, achieving desired Occupancy, ADR & RevPAR index goals.
  • Actively solicit business via telephone, telemarketing, cold calls, site visits, e-prospecting, outside appointments / off site travel.
  • Consult with the General Manager and Revenue Management on rate/inventory suitability of potential group business and review STAR Reports to ensure hotel is positioned in the market properly.
  • Manage accounts to achieve guest satisfaction throughout all departments of the Hotel while working with the Operational team(s).
  • Execute a territorial marketing strategy to capture the maximum amount of revenue.
  • Prepare status, weekly sales productivity reports and period end financial reports.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least one year in a Director of Sales or Sales Manager position (or similar role) at a hotel.
  • At least TWO years in a Hotel setting is a MUST, preferably high-end branded Hotels such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt or IHG.
  • Outside / Pro-Active sales calls are required. Personal vehicle is required for travel.
