The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level hotel sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a commitment to excellence, a passion for hospitality and a clear ambition to advance into a Director of Sales role within Hyatt. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, managing and leading the sales team as well as overseeing select key accounts and market segments and need periods as well as:
Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Mentor, train and develop the sales team
  • Bi-Weekly/Monthly Tentative Funnel Reviews
  • Lead and facilitate sales meetings
  • Conduct property tours &/or facilitate client FAM responsibilities

Revenue & Business Strategy
  • Develop strategy and tactics for need periods
  • Collaborate with catering and convention services teams
  • Participate in annual business planning and forecasting
  • When asked, attend owner or Hyatt meetings and analyze reports
  • Versed at managing Sales & Marketing P&L and financial performance reports

Client Relations & Business Development
  • Handle key accounts and market segments
  • Represent the hotel as needed at tradeshows
  • Engage in customer entertainment and relationship-building

Community & Internal Collaboration
  • Network within the community to drive business opportunities
  • Partner with Rooms, Events, and Food & Beverage departments to optimize revenue
  • Serve as acting Director of Sales & Marketing in their absence
