Export Sales Manager, Latin America
About the Company We are a family-owned housewares manufacturer and importer headquartered in Commerce, California. We design, source, and sell dinnerware, cookware, kitchen tools, and tabletop products across roughly 15 brands, including our owned labels and a portfolio of nationally recognized licensed brands. Shipping to more than 40 countries, our products sell through major retail, ecommerce, and export channels, with Latin America serving as one of our highest-priority regions for growth.
We are looking for a bilingual (English and Spanish) Export Sales Manager to grow sales with retailers and distributors across Mexico, Central America, and South America. You will carry the number, own customer relationships, and decide where we plant the flag next.
What You Will Own
  • The sales and profitability targets for your assigned Latin American markets, from annual plan through quarterly delivery.
  • Relationships with major retailers, distributors, and wholesale partners across Mexico, Central America, and South America.
  • New distribution-identifying, pitching, and signing new retail and distributor partners in open markets.
  • Territory business plans, rolling forecasts, promotional calendars, and quarterly business reviews for every key account.
  • Assortment and pricing recommendations grounded in market and consumer insight, built with our Product Development, Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Customer hosting at our Los Angeles showroom and representation at international trade shows and industry events.
  • Category, competitive, and customer performance analysis that tells us where to invest next.

  • Fluent Spanish and English (ability to negotiate, present, and write in both).
  • A track record of hitting or beating annual revenue targets in an export, international, or key account role.
  • Working knowledge of retail buying cycles, distributor economics, and international sales terms.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for forecasting, account planning, and customer presentations.
  • Based in the Los Angeles area and able to work onsite Monday through Friday.
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel roughly 50 to 70 days per year.

Nice to Have
  • Housewares, dinnerware, cookware, cutlery, kitchen tools, small appliance, or home decor experience.
  • Existing buyer relationships at retailers such as Liverpool, Coppel, Chedraui, Falabella, Cencosud, Éxito, or Ripley, or at leading regional distributors.
  • ERP experience with Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or a similar platform.
  • Working familiarity with Incoterms, FOB and DDP programs, letters of credit, customs documentation, and trade compliance.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, international business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits
  • $100,000 to $120,000 base salary (based on experience, skills, and qualifications), plus an annual discretionary bonus.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • A defined path to broader territory or leadership responsibility based on contribution and results.

Schedule and Location Full-time, onsite at our corporate headquarters in Commerce, California, Monday through Friday. This position is not remote or hybrid. Travel runs approximately 50 to 70 days per year for customer visits, market reviews, and trade shows.
