About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Director with a positive track record of sales success and leadership to guide and mentor our growing sales team. In this role, you will be expected to sell and close at a high-level while contributing to the team's overall success. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services.

This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-time and part-time Group Sales team, monitor productivity, assess performance and support in hitting sales goals
  • Maintain sellout streak while maximizing revenue
  • Develop and lead special event strategy
  • Assist with internal ticketing needs across various departments
  • Find opportunities for Group Sales support for Thrive City events
  • Provide Group Sales support for non-Warriors events at Chase Center when requested
  • Understand best practices across the NBA and incorporate internally
  • Develop and coordinate training programs for Group Sales staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a ticket sales within the sports & entertainment industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Archtics and Salesforce
  • A successful track record of leadership and driving sales revenue
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate, influence and build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels

Time Commitment

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
