Job description

TMC Americas Sales Manager - The TMC Americas Sales Manager has responsibilities for the overall TMC business in the Americas (both North America and South America) and is responsible for ensuring annual business goals are met. The TMC Americas Sales Manager will build business strategies and execute action plans to achieve annual orders & sales targets, and achieve new business development targets, and other key performance goals and objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, Manage, and Coach the TMC Americas Sales Team to achieve orders & sales target, develop new business and drive year-over-year growth.
  • Lead, Manage, and Coach the TMC Americas Sales team to develop and manage key accounts, obtain single source and major market share position, and drive year-over-year growth.
  • Report on voice of customers to management team. Highlight the requirements of local market needs to grow TMC business.
  • Lead, Manage, and Coach TMC Americas Sales Team to use CRM tools to manage an active opportunity pipeline with accurate and detailed information with weekly updates.
  • Responsible for providing sales forecast on a weekly basis and when required.
  • Responsible for providing weekly reports when required.
  • Responsible for business presentations at customers meetings, trade shows, seminars, conferences, internal meetings, when required.
  • Provide ongoing market research, pricing analysis, competitive analysis
  • Support pricing strategies and achieve the business goals while managing customers' expectations and relationships with minimum disruptions.
  • Ensure NDA, quotation, contract, purchase order, order acknowledgement, purchase agreement, suppliers' agreement, technical agreement, tender agreement, business transaction, rep agreement, distributors agreement meet all AMETEK business compliance requirements, regulatory standards, AMETEK policy, Terms and Conditions of Sale, US laws and regulations.
  • Work with all AMETEK colleagues to collaborate and win business for TMC

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or other technical degree is required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales in a technology-oriented organization is required
  • Experience with Semiconductor, Electron Microscopy, Life Science, Photonics, Vibration Control is required
  • Sales experience of capital equipment is required
  • A proven record of growing the business as a technical sales team leader is required
  • Experience with market research, pricing, marketing communications, competitive analysis is required
  • Highly organized, effective time management, prioritization and follow-up skills is required
  • Experience with Salesforce is required
  • A strong ability close new business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent presentations skills in English
  • Position demands extensive travel in the Americas, with occasional overseas travel when necessary
