Genesys is growing and Strategic Finance is looking for an accomplished Finance Manager with finance, data, and teamwork skills who can thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial organization. Global Field Sales & Marketing Finance is part of our Strategic Finance organization. In this dynamic environment, we deliver insights and predictability for Genesys' financials. Collaborating closely with leaders in our business partner teams, we guide resource investments to drive sustained long-term returns for Genesys and growth for our customers.

The Role:

This individual contributor role's primary responsibilities include financial and workforce planning, solving global operational challenges at scale, and delivering key business insights to our CFO and CSO with a focus on our One Americas sales region that spans NA and LATAM. This role's primary business partner will be the One Americas SVP sales leader and their leadership team in sales and sales operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Strategic Finance lead for the One Americas regional sales leader, providing centralized support for them and their GTM team across NA and LATAM while partnering with leaders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, and Ops
  • Play an important role in the AI transformation of core finance workflows: use Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Enterprise, and custom token-routing tools to automate management reporting, then apply the same agentic tooling to sharpen and simplify the quarterly forecast process
  • Own and manage the workforce planning activities for the One Americas regional sales organization in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partner and leaders in Sales, including "rolling up your sleeves" and working through the details of hiring plan management
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership to pinpoint crucial strategic questions, leverage data for informed answers, and improve the ROI of our regional opex investments
  • Deliver data-driven variance analyses and management reporting to Corporate FP&A, the CSO, and regional sales leadership

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Statistics, or related fields (MBA or similar graduate degree a plus)
  • 7+ years of experience with financial analysis or strategic finance and solving problems with data: your track record might include consulting, investment banking, accounting, SaaS, or a technology-focused business
  • Exceptional ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and functional leaders. You can develop trust, deliver responsive support, and challenge hypotheses
  • A strong and proven ability to build and maintain high-quality decision tools, reports, templates, and ad-hoc models in Excel to guide key decisions by leaders in the business
  • Systems and data visualization experience (Workday Adaptive, Tableau, Oracle EPM Cloud, Salesforce, Power Query, Power Pivot, Python, SQL, etc.)
  • An enthusiastic approach to doing, and getting things done, that make a difference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts in a succinct, straightforward way
  • Capably deal with ambiguity when presented with it and thrive in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
  • Demonstrate an Ownership mentality

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$105,100.00 - $184,900.00
