Area Director of Sales:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead revenue generation efforts for a cluster of hotels both Marriott, Hilton, and IHG brands.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

As an Area Director of Sales, you will lead and support sales efforts across a portfolio of hotels in the Spokane/CDA/Puyallup market. Youโ€™ll be a key driver of revenue growth, working closely with property teams while actively building strong relationships within the local business community. This is not a remote role, required on property. Travel required to cluster hotels.

  • Self-directed and proactive leader with the ability to set clear expectations, drive accountability, and lead sales performance with minimal oversight.
  • Actively network within the local market to generate new business opportunities
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching to on-property sales teams
  • Analyze market trends, competitive data, and performance metrics to drive strategy
  • Strengthen relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and community partners
  • Ensure brand standards and sales initiatives are aligned across all properties
  • Represent the cluster of three hotels in quarterly performance calls, presenting results, insights, and strategic action plans to ownership and senior leadership.
  • All other duties assigned by Direct Supervisor.
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • Proven success in hotel sales leadership, preferably in a multi-property seller role.
  • Experience with select-service and extended stay hotel brands
  • Familiarity with Hilton, Marriott or IHG systems and sales processes.
  • A natural relationship-builder with strong networking skills
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on revenue growth and accountability
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong ability to analyze STR reports and translate market intelligence into actionable sales strategies that improve market share and RevPAR
  • Preferably 1+ year of similar experience in Hotel Sales
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License.
  • Education Preferred of Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college, or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
