Position Summary:

With opportunities for the continued growth of our Westfield, MA location, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Manager that will report to the Director of Sales and will be based in Central Pennsylvania. As the Outside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing sales and services to existing accounts assigned, managing our existing rep network, and following up on leads provided for new opportunities.

  • A hands-on, can-do attitude to drive sales and profit.
  • Self-motivated and desire to increase profit and close sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • Ability to interact with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Storeroom, and Purchasing personnel at power plants, pulp and paper mills, and process facilities.
  • Retain and grow current accounts as well as acquire profitable new business, work with strategic partners.
  • Provide value to all customer interactions and ensure client needs are exceeded in all areas.
  • Highly motivated, target driven, with a hunter mentality!

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a college degree (associates or bachelors) preferably with a technical focus.
  • Previous experience in a sales role in the industrial, power generation, or pulp and paper industry.
  • Knowledge of valve applications including critical line valves, control valves, steam conditioning valves, process measurement, and control as related to the power and pulp and paper industry beneficial.
  • A proven track record in a previous sales position is strongly desired!
