Our goal is to make sure our customers are always powered up and ready to go!**Position Summary:** Provide quality customer service maintaining and servicing customer critical power equipment, such as Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS’), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Bypass Cabinets and Battery systems.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Independently schedule and conduct preventative maintenance services.* Respond to emergency calls 24/7 when necessary.* Troubleshoot critical power systems to identify root causes and carry out repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.* Adhere to job requirements and strive for accuracy in all tasks.* Focus on preventative maintenance as a Critical Power Professional(TM).* Aim to achieve Zero Defects (ZD) and eliminate costly errors.* Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and education on equipment operation.* Maintain and secure company tools and equipment.* Keep personal vehicle in safe condition and maintain current insurance and licenses.* Support sales opportunities by recommending critical power equipment and related products.* Submit all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.* Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members.* Attend product-specific training sessions and assist with equipment commissioning.* Handle battery installation, removal, and disposal procedures.## Qualifications**Required Qualifications:*** Minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering technology or a related field* At least 4 years of experience in servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining critical power or similar equipment* Willingness to learn technical skills through various training methods* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Mechanical aptitude* Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers* Self-motivated and able to independently manage workload* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel**Additional / Preferred Qualifications:*** Completion of factory training or equivalent in the repair and maintenance of multiple leading UPS brands is preferred.* Previous experience in critical power field service.* Proficiency in the use of electrical/electronic test equipment and understanding of fundamentals.* Capability to read and interpret electrical line diagrams and schematics.* Understanding of OHM's law and electronic theory.* Skill in evaluating the operating conditions of equipment.**Physical Demands**While performing duties of the above jobs, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or other components; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell. The employee frequently is required to sit and climb or balance. Must have the ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds.
