Basic Duties
  • Showcase your technical expertise by effectively troubleshooting and repairing Power Systems equipment, completing service reports, PM checklists, and timecards within department guidelines.
  • Utilize your knowledge of SIS, ET, parts, and service manuals to efficiently handle service tasks.
  • Take ownership of jobs, properly segment tasks, and order parts as needed for seamless project execution.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to customer satisfaction by communicating job status effectively to clients and office personnel.
  • Conduct complete visual inspections and testing of Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, noting deficiencies as part of preventive maintenance service.
  • Perform thorough preventive maintenance and testing on Cat and non-Cat engine and generator sets, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Qualifications
  • You should have a minimum of four years of experience in electric power generator maintenance and repair.
  • Demonstrate your ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Good decision-making skills and the ability to follow directions are essential to excel in this role.
  • Represent Altorfer's professional image with your effective communication skills and strong work ethic.
  • Show your organizational prowess by writing technical reports and using resources for information when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of Office software, preferably MS Word, Excel, and email, is expected.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to be considered for this position.
