The Senior HRIS Lead role requires a high level of collaboration, interpersonal effectiveness, and technical skill to deliver a world class global HRIS solution. This role will assist in the management and development of all HR systems and processes, and will have a strong focus on business process design and improvement, resolution of issues, and provide project support to the HR team in alignment with the company's strategies and goals.

What you'll be doing

Job Functions:
  • Provide project leadership and support in implementing new processes and workflows across all HR systems (Workday, iCIMS, Cornerstone OnDemand) including requirements gathering; researching and resolving problems; participating in testing activities; and recommending and delivering solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Will be accountable for project management working closely with the HR group and end users to research and analyze employee data and ongoing internal user inquiries; evaluate their HRIS needs and provide solutions.
  • Review, test, and implement HRIS system updates and enhancements and collaborate with necessary parties to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with preparation and management of HR cyclical processes such as performance management, compensation cycles, compliance reporting, and benefits open enrollment; including requirements gathering, documentation, and configuration updates.
  • Responsible for security set up and maintenance in the HRIS to ensure global employees, managers and other system role users are able to see only desired data and perform only desired functions.
  • Work closely with system vendor support and IT department to establish and maintain various system integrations. Will be responsible for reviewing, testing and modifying processes, training materials and reporting as necessary through scheduled software upgrade events.
  • Generate regular reports for HR metrics such as Headcount and Turnover and complete ad hoc data requests for surveys, HR internal data needs, or management requests. Analyze reporting needs to ensure a full understanding of report requirements and create custom reports for the organization as requested.
  • Research and resolve issues to ensure compliance, data integrity/accuracy.
  • Develop and update documentation to ensure compliance and ongoing process improvement strategies.
  • Design, develop and oversight of producing standard monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics reports for internal program monitoring, automation and consolidation of data for the HR department and other internal clients. Generate advanced ad-hoc reporting related to analytical data as required.
  • Acts as change management champion for systems and processes.
  • Maintain and ensure the accurate set-up and ongoing management of the company's organization structure through the Supervisory Organizational framework.
  • Oversee training and change management activities related to the use of HR application including one-on-one training for new HR team members as well as managers or employees who require MSS or ESS support.


What you've been able to accomplish

Minimum Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems preferably Workday; knowledge of core HR processes, strong HRIS technical knowledge; project management skills; process reengineering and change management
  • Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized and able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities independently while demonstrating a sense of urgency. Must be a reliable asset and team player.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and written, to communicate issues and resolutions and provide the appropriate level of support; strong attention-to-detail; should have proven track record of maintaining confidentiality; multi-tasking; meeting strict deadlines, problem solving, communicating with all audiences on a global basis; and must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Possess strong relationship management skills including influencing and coaching skills with experience partnering with HR, IT and Finance groups globally.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of employee data.
  • Ability to create, generate and modify as necessary system reports and ability to solve complex data and system issues.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of Windows, MS Office, MS Outlook and SharePoint with emphasis on use of formulas, vlookups, pivot tables in Excel. Experience using Workday desired with Crystal Reporting and XML knowledge a plus.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, finance, business, HR or some other related field or equivalent experience in addition to the below
  • 5+ years progressively advanced systems experience
  • Additional HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems experience highly desired
  • Workday application experience highly desired
