Job description

Administrative Assistant

Wellen Park HOA, located in North Port, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay: $18 - $22 per hour Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides support to Membership staff with phone calls, general correspondence, handling walk-ins, and assembling membership packages
  • Assists with members' website reservations, questions, policies, concerns, or complaints in a timely, professional manner
  • Takes photos and imprints them on membership cards as needed for applicable membership categories
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Assists the Director with member event planning
  • Assists the Director and Membership Marketing Coordinator with ongoing projects
  • Must be available to work member events in the evenings, holidays, and some weekends
  • Distributes incoming mail and packages to departments and employees

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in private club operations or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must be physically able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Must possess and present a professional demeanor at all times to members and guests
