Job Description

 

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager – Diagnostics is responsible for directly promoting, selling, and supporting Cadwell’s neurodiagnostics products in the states of KS, MO, AR, Southern IL, Southern IN, KY, and W. TN. Product responsibility includes EEG, EMG, and Sleep (PSG).  The Regional Sales Manager – Diagnostics will coordinate and drive sales of all assigned products, and as needed, working in concert with product line Sales Specialists. The position is focused on growing Cadwell’s overall business within the sales region through account penetration and development, promoting teamwork and team selling activities, and driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. The position is based in the St. Louis metropolitan area with close proximity to a major airport.

Key Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals for assigned neurodiagnostics product lines
  • Orchestrate team selling activities for hospital/IDN/KOL accounts with product line Sales Specialists, Key Account Manager, and IONM sales team
  • Develop territory business plans in alignment with management goals for the region
  • Create territory sales forecasts, utilize administrative tools for opportunity management (CRM)
  • Carry out product installations and customer in-service training
  • Actively participate in neurdiagnostics related trade shows, exhibitions, conventions, and courses approved by Cadwell
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts
  • Function as liaison between customers and Cadwell; assist in resolving problems and concerns and maintain excellent customer support throughout the region
  • Provide customer recommendations and requirements to staff to assist in the technical development and marketing of products and services
  • Develop in-depth technical understanding of assigned product lines
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business sales, marketing, or a medical/scientific discipline is required
  • Four years of professional sales experience or equivalent, ideally in medical devices, or in the medical/scientific research field is required

Skills / Job Knowledge / Abilities:

  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills, including formal presentation skills before small groups to clearly communicate technical information
  • Ability to accurately assess customer needs and provide consultative solutions
  • Willingness and understanding of how to build long-term relationships with customers
  • Skilled in problem analysis and resolution; sound decision making capability with alignment to company goals, objectives, and values
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Working knowledge of Window OS in a networked environment is preferred
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy required
  • Requires the following physical activities:  standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
