Gaining experience through online courses, certifications, or freelance testing opportunities can help build your portfolio and credibility in the field.

To thrive as a Usability Tester, you need keen observational skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of user experience principles, often supported by a background in UX, HCI, or related fields. Familiarity with usability testing platforms (such as UserTesting or UserZoom), recording software, and basic analytics tools is typically required. • 2+ years of relevant experience designing responsive web and mobile applications, with a portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX solutions.
