Job description

Position: SAP PM Functional Consultant
Location: Houston, TX
Client: Petroleum Refinery
Duration: Contract
Need Onsite NO REMOTE
Responsibilities:
• 8 years of work experience required
• Analyze the application with the eyes of an end user and validate the implementation of requirements
• Ability to work on multiple projects and ability to prioritize the criticality of Projects
• Responsible for End to End functional and non-functional testing of the Projects
• Preparing test results and test reports
• Plan and execute project testing. e.g enhancement packs, new country roll in, support packs, release testing etc.
• Follow and enforce the established process for sustaining test automation
• Improve test automation quality in terms test coverage, test results
• Ownership and accountable for test management roadmap, should deliver the improved (i.e., QC implementation) of framework and increased usage of test automation
• Leverage the solution manager capabilities for test management, business documentation etc.
Qualifications
• Experience of working as functional test leader
• Good functional knowledge of SAP S4 Hana
• Required knowledge of functional areas like SAP S/4 Hana P2P, O2C and R2R
• Must have through understanding of Agile methodology and test cycle
• Must possess good communication skills (written and verbal both)
• Should have extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Methodologies and processes
• Experience in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing, Portal Testing, Translation Testing, Usability Testing
• Experience is writing test cases and test strategies based on the customer requirements
• Experience in Test Management using JIRA
• Define, manage and create test data for Demo systems
• Experience in interface testing between SAP & non-SAP applications is needed for specific customers
• Experience with Mobile Testing and Functional knowledge in SAP PM is a MUST
• Functional knowledge in SAP PLM, SAP MM and SAP ISU will be a plus
• Experience of automation test tools will be an added advantage
