Position Summary:
The Oracle EBS Testing Analyst performs independent verification and validation (IV&V) testing for the DAI Oracle EBS enterprise financial management system across multiple release events. This role develops and executes manual and automated test scripts. This role works within MicroFocus ALM, OATS, and Serena Dimensions to document results, track defects, and ensure release quality meets federal standards including Section 508 and FFMIA.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for Oracle EBS across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Limited User Testing (LUT) phases.
  • Perform regression, performance, load, stress, and end-to-end testing across business process areas: OTL, Procure-to-Pay, Budget-to-Report, Award-to-Reimburse, Order-to-Cash, Analytics (OAS), and Interfaces.
  • Execute testing across events such as monthly production releases, accelerated software change request (SCR) releases, emergency/out-of-cycle releases, stabilization fixes, and data fix deployments.
  • MicroFocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Serena Dimensions, Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Oracle Test Manager (OTM), and Oracle Load Manager (OLM) for test script management, configuration control, and results documentation.
  • monthly Section 508 accessibility compliance testing and support annual FFMIA (Federal Financial Management Improvement Act) testing per OMB mandate.
  • Support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities including test readiness reviews, requirements traceability matrix (RTM) maintenance, and defect documentation and resolution tracking.
  • Participate in Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation (T&E) and CEVA (Cybersecurity Evaluation and Validation Activities) as required.
  • Prepare and contribute to SIT/UAT/LUT test plans, test reports, IV&V reports, and test evaluation plans per release cycle.
  • Understands customer business objectives and assists with aligning the deliverables accordingly.
  • Ensures compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to all certified processes as part of the organization's commitment to quality and information security, including protection of sensitive information.
  • Travel to client sites as needed, up to 20%, depending on client requirements.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Experience in computer software development and testing software applications, including system testing, regression testing, acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining test cases using designated automated test tools.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements, technologies, and business needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust Government Clearance prior to hire date.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $90,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
