Job description

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
The Ops/Test Analyst I supports developmental and operational testing of internal and external customer systems within a flight operations and test environment. This role serves as a coordination point between instrumentation engineers, test customers, and project officers to ensure required parametric data is accurately captured, aligned with system configurations, and suitable for test data analysis. The analyst assists in planning, scheduling, executing, and analyzing test operations while supporting mission planning and air operations coordination at operational work sites. This position contributes to small, cross-functional teams focused on test execution, data integrity, and program scheduling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, prioritization, and execution of weekly, monthly, and long-range flight/test scheduling
  • Support coordination of test activities and data requirements with project officers and mission schedulers
  • Help resolve scheduling conflicts between concurrent test events and operational systems
  • Participate as a member of a small, multidisciplinary team supporting test operations
  • Apply foundational knowledge of test processes, including electronic warfare (EW), radio frequency (RF), and communication protocols
  • Assist in analyzing pretest predictions to define data collection requirements
  • Collect, validate (QC), organize, and analyze test and mission data
  • Identify and assist in resolving basic data anomalies or inconsistencies
  • Develop basic data analysis tools, reports, or processes to support test evaluation
  • Provide operational and analytical support as required by program leadership
  • Ability to work in operational environments with shifting priorities and time-sensitive execution demands
  • Ability to support multiple concurrent test activities and scheduling cycles
  • Perform other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of technical training and four (4) years of related experience; or an associate degree and two (2) years of related experience; or a related bachelor's degree (Math, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent). The applicant must understand concepts, principles, and practices of engineering and analysis to serve as a technical authority on projects relating to the specific programs. The position requires knowledge and skill sufficient to apply the latest developments in technology to solve problems in the specialty area.
  • Prior military experience in Maintenance Management AFSC (2R2X1 or equivalent)
  • Experience leveraging data analysis to optimize maintenance operations, identify operational risks, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime and maximize resource utilization
  • Experience collaborating with maintenance personnel to develop and execute proactive maintenance schedules that enhance equipment reliability and extend operational life cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze maintenance data to identify trends, predict potential failures, and optimize resource allocation within budget and schedule constraints
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project officers, and program leadership
  • Experience producing comprehensive analytical reports and actionable recommendations that support leadership decision-making and improve operational readiness and mission effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE

In addition, an Operations/Test Analyst I must possess the following qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel, Power BI, and Oracle database systems
  • Working knowledge of analytical principles related to test and evaluation environments
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with air operations, mission planning, or test range environments
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and possess a valid state-issued driver's license

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $79,040.00 to $85,280.00 annually.

offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting up to (20) pounds, constant sitting while using a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must possess planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under a deadline.
