MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Workday HCM Business Analyst to join our team in Herndon, VA. This a hybrid position, requiring occasional onsite collaboration in Herndon, VA.

The Workday HCM Business Analyst will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support the organization's human capital management infrastructure, to include configuring system settings, responding to/implementing/documenting business processes, and completing required functional tasks.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating, updating, maintaining, and interpreting required functional design and configuration documentation for the Workday HCM and Recruiting modules.
  • Working with management, internal teams, and stakeholders to successfully navigate the system enhancement process for all HR information systems.
  • Documenting responses to functional requirements and updating business process flows as necessary while maintaining a robust library of technical guides.
  • Maintaining, updating, and conducting routine audits and data integrity checks across the Workday platform.
  • Maintaining system baselines and configuration management items, including security role assignments and business process policies.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning recruitment workflows that meet all organizational talent acquisition requirements.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements to streamline the candidate and recruiter experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Information Systems or Functional Analysis.
  • Workday HCM and Recruiting experience is required
  • Significant experience navigating Workday configuration and business process frameworks.
  • Significant experience meeting functional requirements in a large-scale corporate environment or similar complex settings.
  • Experience working across a large team to drive a digital transformation agenda and working with complex, intertwined data flows.
  • Experience inventorying complex business processes and maintaining functional documentation for system compliance and patching.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation, particularly regarding HR system architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Pro HCM and Recruiting Certification
  • Experience with any or all the following modules - Workday Advanced Compensation, Learning, and Talent and Performance
  • Experience with advanced reporting tools, EIBs, and Workday's risk and compliance automation features.
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills - able to work across teams, organize meetings/boards, and drive change throughout an organization.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other equipment.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,100.00.
