Job description

We are seeking an Oracle E-Business Suite Application Support Analyst to provide dedicated L1 and L2 support coverage for clients. This person will be the first point of contact for end-user issues, handling day-to-day troubleshooting, ticket management, and functional support across Oracle EBS Finance and/or Projects modules. The role requires strong communication skills, solid functional knowledge of Oracle EBS, and the ability to work independently within defined support processes.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM CST
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact (L1) for end-user support requests via the ticketing system.
  • Triage, prioritize, and resolve L1 issues, including access, navigation, and basic functional queries.
  • Investigate and resolve L2 issues, including data discrepancies, configuration-related problems, and functional errors within Oracle EBS modules.
  • Escalate complex or development-related issues to L3 per defined escalation procedures.
  • Document issues, resolutions, and workarounds to build and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand reported issues and provide timely updates.
  • Participate in change management activities and follow SOX control requirements where applicable.
  • Support user acceptance testing and assist end users during system updates or deployments.
  • Track and report on ticket volumes, resolution times, and open items to management.

Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 in a functional support capacity.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle EBS Finance modules (AP, AR, GL) and/or Oracle Projects.
  • Ability to investigate and troubleshoot functional issues using SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Oracle APEX interfaces from a user/support perspective is a plus.
  • Experience working with a ticketing/ITSM system (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple open tickets simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a multi-developer or large Oracle support team environment preferred.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
