The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will serve as a functional and technical expert in Oracle Cloud Time and Labor (OTL), supporting configuration, production operations, integrations, and continuous enhancement initiatives. This role partners closely with Payroll, Absence, HR, and IT teams to ensure accurate time capture, processing, and downstream payroll integration. The ideal candidate must be an OTL expert with a production troubleshooting mindset, strong cross-module knowledge, and the ability to diagnose real-world data and integration issues quickly.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead analysis, configuration, and support of Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) solutions
  • Support the Time Card lifecycle including entry, validation, approvals, and payroll integration
  • Own business requirements, functional design, and solution validation for OTL enhancements
  • Investigate and resolve production defects, data discrepancies, and integration issues
  • Partner with Oracle Support (using SRs) for defect triage and resolution
  • Perform root cause analysis across Time, Absence, and Payroll interactions
  • Manage ServiceNow Demands and Defects
  • Analyze interactions between Time & Labor and Absence Management
  • Ensure accurate handling of leaves of absence, pay codes, and eligibility rules
  • Support payroll integration validation and reconciliation
  • Lead functional testing for Oracle quarterly updates (e.g., 26A, 26B)
  • Develop test scenarios and coordinate/assign execution across teams
  • Coordinate defect tracking and validation during system releases
  • Support inbound/outbound integrations (e.g., time feeds from UKG WFM Pro or other time systems)
  • Validate data flows into Oracle HCM and downstream reporting tools
  • Partner with reporting teams (e.g., Power BI) to resolve data discrepancies
  • Maintain configuration workbooks and tracking of OTL changes
  • Define best practices for managing configuration and release artifacts
  • Drive continuous improvement in timekeeping and payroll processes
  • Facilitate working sessions with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendor teams
  • Support weekly governance and operational reviews
  • Provide recommendations on system improvements and industry best practices
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI and digital productivity tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a related technical role
  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Time and Labor (OTL)
  • 2+ years of experience in strong understanding of Oracle: Time entry, approval workflows, rules, pay codes, eligibility, and configuration
  • 2+ years of experience with production support and incident management, including Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and defect resolution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, health insurance, or related clinical/financial platforms
  • Experience utilizing modern productivity tools or generative AI assistants to draft documentation, organize information, or enhance system analysis workflows
  • Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and system troubleshooting
  • Experience with Oracle HDLs (HCM Data Loader)
  • Experience with Oracle Redwood Pages and Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
  • Experience with Oracle Fast Formulas
  • Oracle Absence Management expertise
  • Experience conducting functional testing for quarterly system releases

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
