Highly recognized non-profit organization serving individuals with disabilities based in suburban Essex County has an opportunity for a proactive, engaging recruiter with strong communication and administrative skills. Responsible for all aspects of sourcing, interviewing, testing, evaluating and hiring talent at all levels of the organization, this position will partner with and provide strategic guidance to hiring managers on the overall recruiting process. This position continues its work with hiring managers by serving as a resource to design and develop relevant and specific onboarding plans.

This position continues its work with hiring managers by serving as a resource to design and develop relevant and specific onboarding plans.

Qualifications

Must have 3+ years as a recruiter. Non-profit or union environment preferred by not required. Bachelor's degree strongly preferred but experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Excellent communication, presentation and administrative skills needed to be successful in this position as is knowledge of any HRIS system. Technology competence in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must demonstrate familiarity with all applicable federal and state laws governing sourcing, recruitment and hiring practices.
