Key Responsibilities
This role leads internal HR communications - turning HR and CHRO priorities into clear, actionable messages and audience engagement strategies that drive alignment, readiness, and execution at scale. The Manager ensures HR communications are proactive, well-sequenced, and embedded into HR's operating rhythm.
The role partners closely with the CHRO, Chief of Staff, Internal Communications, and HR leaders to strengthen narrative clarity, accelerate adoption of HR initiatives, accelerate adoption of HR initiatives, and elevate the quality and consistency of HR messaging globally.
1. Own internal HR communications execution: Translate HR priorities and decisions into clear "what this means / what to do now" messaging that drives action.
2. Lead CHRO HR communications: Draft and sequence HR-related CHRO messages; ensure alignment across internal forums and external moments (in partnership with Internal Comms). Source and support opportunities for CHRO appearances internally and externally to drive alignment with HR priorities and the Applied Materials brand.
3. Drive change readiness: Design and deliver change communications that prepare stakeholders early and reduce confusion, rework, and resistance.
4. Build scalable messaging assets: Create reusable frameworks, templates, toolkits, and FAQs that enable HR teams to communicate with speed and consistency.
5. Elevate digital storytelling: Turn insights, data, and updates into clear, compelling narratives across digital channels.
6. Embed communications into HR cadence: Ensure key initiatives are sequenced, reinforced, and sustained through a predictable operating rhythm.
7. Enable AI-assisted communications:
Leverage AI tools to draft, edit, and refine HR communications with greater speed and consistency.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
