Job description

The Transportation Supervisor coordinates transportation services provided to participants and potential enrollees, oversees vehicle safety, and manages Transportation team staff. The Transportation Supervisor is a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and collaborates in participant care planning.

On the day-to-day, you will:
  • Manage the Transportation team including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring
  • Attend and participate in IDT meetings, market tactical meetings, and clinic huddles
  • Conduct driver ride-alongs to observe performance and provide coaching
  • Address performance and conduct issues, including disciplinary actions and PRT escalations, in accordance with policy
  • Oversee vehicle safety and preventative maintenance, including PMI oversight, vendor compliance, and routine service and repair scheduling
  • Manage fleet documentation and maintain vehicle/market supply inventory and order requests
  • Drive operational improvements and oversee scheduling while ensuring both maximum efficiency and satisfaction

Job requirements include:
  • High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted
  • Participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam
  • Current valid state driver's license
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a public or private transportation setting
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and IDT members
  • Must maintain the eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth's commercial auto insurance program; applicants must generally be at least 25 years of age; candidates ages 23-24 may be considered based on driving history and other underwriting criteria; drivers over age 70 may be required to provide current medical certification
