Transportation Supervisor Job HighlightsMy Ride to Work is expanding and we are looking for a Transporation Supervisor in the Reno.ย  The Transportation Supervisor will manage the delivery of employees to their work locations through a network of commute alternatives.ย  For this position, the Transportation Supervisor will develop, manage, market, provide strategic direction, and oversight to various transportation programs and services. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys working with a team and has a passion to support environmental sustainability initiatives by expanding the alternate mode use through outreach, education, and continued growth of transportation programs.
ย What you will be doing as a Transportation Supervisor
  • Lead superb internal customer relations regarding commute transportation questions and feedback; oversee customer service and issue resolution, root case analysis, and corrective actions plans
  • Oversee communication of system and service changes to all stakeholders through communication channels, including basic graphics layout, e.g., email, newsletter, intranet/app, signage
  • Work with internal/external teams to conduct creative employee engagement events and campaigns to highlight commute programs, and motivate participation
  • Perform strategic analysis to improve and optimize overall system efficiency
  • Recommend and support development of internal transportation policies, procedures, and programs
  • Interface with internal stakeholders to understand, develop, and align goals
  • Maintainย vendor performance metrics and analysis
  • Manage vendors, facilitates staff and service providers as required to ensure excellent service delivery and cost efficience

What will you bring to the Transportation Manger position?
  • 2-3 years in transportationย management or another corporate employee services program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service and engagement of multiple stakeholders to lead cross functional projects
  • Advanced computer skills, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, basic Web page management, internal software tools, Adobe Creative Suite
