School Psychologist | Adams, NY | 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Adams, NY 13605
Position: School Psychologist
Setting: Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time | 5 Days/Week
Caseload: K–12
Buildings: 1 School Site

Position Overview

We are seeking a School Psychologist to join a supportive school team in Adams, New York for the 2026–2027 school year. This is an onsite K–12 opportunity serving students across a single school building.

The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services, including initial evaluations, reevaluations, testing, and counseling support. The district is also open to considering new graduate School Psychologists who meet the position's credentialing requirements.

Position Details

  • Full-Time: 5 days per week onsite
  • Part-Time Option: Candidates may be considered for 3–4 onsite days per week
  • Grade Levels: K–12
  • School Buildings: 1

Caseload & Responsibilities

The School Psychologist will support students through:

  • Initial evaluations and reevaluations
  • Psychological and educational testing
  • Assessment and interpretation of student needs
  • Counseling and social-emotional support
  • Collaboration with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
  • Participation in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Development and implementation of appropriate student support strategies

Approximate Caseload

  • Testing: Approximately 50 students
  • Initial Evaluations: Up to 10 students
  • Counseling: Approximately 10 students

Students served may include children with:

  • Autism
  • Learning disabilities
  • Speech and language disabilities
  • Deaf and hard of hearing needs
  • Other academic, behavioral, and developmental needs

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

  • Appropriate New York School Psychologist credentials/licensure
  • Tier III license or applicable experience preferred/required based on district requirements
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team
  • Experience or interest in supporting students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Compensation: $55–$63/hour
