Relocation Project Manager
JLL is seeking an experienced Relocation Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in delivering best-in-class solutions to our real estate clients.
The Relocation Project Managerserves as the central point of contact and execution leader for all aspects of employee and corporate relocations, managing work queues, ensuring seamless coordination between stakeholders, and maintaining quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle including after-hours support as needed.
This role manages the complete project lifecycle from initial client consultation and planning through final execution and closeout. The Relocation Project Manager partners cross-functionally with Facilities, IT, AV, Security, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver space solutions that meet business needs while optimizing workplace efficiency and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all relocation project activities including moves, reconfiguration and small projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relocation processes and best practices
  • Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, implementing innovative project management practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage scheduling for moves and services that occur outside standard business hours
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for weekend and evening work execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project team and business units to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
  • Required on site 3 days per week
  • Travel required up to 30%

Project Management Skills:
  • Delivering projects: Successfully managing and leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project planning and monitoring: Developing comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Budget and cost management: Tracking project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and providing accurate cost forecasts. Process purchased orders and invoices for due diligence and financials.
  • Project Controls: Implement technology platform systems, process management, data analytics, and strategic advisory.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure JLL best practices and policies are being followed
    Oversee the procurement of all necessary vendors and outside labor
  • Ensure performance of data input into the CAFM system to maintain occupancy information
  • Oversee the work orders and small project management, including but not limited to furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements
  • Oversee meetings to review furniture installation schedules with furniture installation vendors and key stakeholders
  • Manage the furniture plan and budget through collaboration with the relocation manager, facility manager, project manager and construction manager as required
  • Supervise delivery of product, off-loading and staging of product for delivery
    Oversee the furniture installation and relocation services of new or reuse furniture

  • Experience:
  • Proficient in CAD/CAFM technology with a move management module and/or facilities management system
  • Proficiency in the Corrigo Work Order system
    Ability to utilize Project Management Software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong Microsoft Projects skills
  • Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite of technologies
  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable
  • Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
  • Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Ability to manage all aspects of move management projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to Budgeting, Scheduling and Change orders
  • Previous experience effectively supervising, training, mentoring and evaluating direct reports
  • 5+ years in relocation project management, MAC, project management, facilities management, or related experience in a Corporate Real Estate Environment
