Relocation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relocation Project Manager for the Texas region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the relocation and expense project process for our client's portfolio within Texas and the central field. This is a dynamic role that requires meticulous planning, excellent organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively lead geographically dispersed projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their relocation needs, goals, and objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive relocation project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Plan and manage successfully relocations up to 1,000 people and expense projects up to 100K.
  • Perform data input into the Corrigo system and Asana to maintain project information
  • Coordinate and manage all stages of the relocation process, from initial planning to post-move evaluation.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure a seamless relocation experience.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate existing facilities and identify potential issues or opportunities.
  • Coordinate logistics, such as space planning, furniture procurement, IT infrastructure setup, equipment installations and expense projects.
  • Manage and track the progress of multiple relocation and expense projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Provide regular communication and updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve any challenges or issues that may arise during the project process.
  • Conduct post-move and project evaluations to assess the success of the project and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial real estate or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of relocation best practices, including space planning, furniture procurement, and IT infrastructure setup.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience in managing large-scale, complex relocation projects.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate contracts and lease agreements.
  • Experience working with architects, contractors, and interior designers.

Estimated compensation for this position:

115,000.00 - 125,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
