Job Overview

Lincoln Electric Products Co., Inc. seeks a Project Manager III to join its dynamic team. The Project Manager III (PM III) is responsible for end-to-end execution of assigned projects within an engineered-to-order electrical manufacturing environment. This role owns schedule coordination, customer communication, internal cross-functional alignment, and identification and mitigation of commercial risk. The PM III is accountable for delivering projects on time, maintaining documentation integrity, and protecting project margin.

This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Manager - Project Manager.

Work Arrangement: Onsite – Monday-Friday

Working Conditions: Office Environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
  • Designing and drawing Switchboards/ Panelboards.
  • Reviewing outgoing engineering submittal drawings for technical and contractual accuracy.
  • Evaluating and interpreting customer specifications and drawings to create an accurate bill ofmaterials.
  • Providing phone support and direct interaction with customers and employees to obtain sales
  • Reviewing returned drawings and submittals of same, analyzing and processing markup/comments, and communicating changes to the internal and external stakeholders
  • Review contract documents and interpret technical specifications to ensure product compliance and prepare change order pricing and quotations if needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the completion of Short Circuit and Coordination Studies.
  • Releasing equipment for production and delivery to an in-house shop.
  • Coordinating deliveries with customers.
  • Enter orders into the company ERP software system.
  • Configure and order long lead time major materials/components for the project.
  • Perform visits to survey site layout and logistical challenges as needed.
  • Provide post-sales support for equipment.

Skills, Requirements, and Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, required
  • Mechanical engineering Bachelor along with experience in a switchboard manufacturing environment may be considered.
  • Minimum of five years within the Switchboard and Panelboards manufacturing industry.
  • Good knowledge about Switchboard Industry UL standard UL891, UL1558, UL67, UL50, UL50E, etc.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications
  • Strong knowledge of breakers, bus systems, switchboards, and power distribution equipment
  • Experience in engineered-to-order manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel

Preferred qualification

  • PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of web-based vendor configuration tools such as Schneider’s SE Advantage, Eaton’s Bid Manager, and ABB’s Empower
  • Ability to create customer-facing dashboards and data visualizations
  • Experience using project management tools: Asana, MS Project, etc.
  • Basic working knowledge of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude) and/or software automation
