Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op located in our Littleton, MA site.
Reporting to the Product Manager, the student will learn effective brainstorming, design for manufacturing, prototyping, and documentation as they apply their engineering knowledge to real world problems.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Participate in multidisciplinary brainstorming sessions
  • Conceptualize, investigate, and develop innovative product architectures, parts, mechanisms, and assemblies
  • Create robust design solutions using CAD (SolidWorks), analysis software, and lab equipment
  • Parts procurement, including creation of Bill of Materials and purchase orders
  • Present to internal teams to communicate design value, tradeoffs, and recommendations
  • Develop a personal portfolio of work accomplished during co-op assignment

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
  • Currently enrolled student, pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with SolidWorks to resolve mechanical challenges and produce high quality CAD databases
  • Engineering simulation software (CAD, Excel, FEA, CFD, etc.)
  • Basic machine shop skills (Mill/Lathe)
  • Experience setting up and running experiments in a lab setting
  • Design of experiments
  • Tolerance analysis

Co-Op Program Requirements:
  • Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for assignment term (July-December 2026)
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 min GPA
