ProCare Therapy | Virginia Beach Area

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for onsite contract opportunities throughout the Virginia Beach, Virginia area for the 2026–2027 school year. We are partnering with local school districts across the Hampton Roads region, including Virginia Beach City Public Schools, Chesapeake Public Schools, Norfolk Public Schools, Portsmouth Public Schools, Suffolk Public Schools, Hampton City Schools, Newport News Public Schools, and York County School Division, to support students across a variety of grade levels and communication needs within school-based settings.

These positions provide the opportunity to work directly with students while collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams to support speech, language, and communication development.

Position Details
Full-time and part-time onsite opportunities available
2026–2027 school year assignments
School-based settings across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Multiple openings with varying caseloads and student needs
Opportunities may include:
Mild/moderate caseloads
Autism support programs
AAC support
Preschool and early intervention services
Special education populations
Pay rate: $52–$65 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

Requirements:
Active Virginia SLP license required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
ASHA CCCs preferred; CF candidates may be considered depending on assignment
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams
