Job description

OverviewCoordination and effective delivery of student programs. Coordination and effective delivery of student and nursing services orientation.Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and provides oversight of the internal student affiliate program by working with entity stakeholders to establish need and develop relationships with academic institutions.
  • Coordinates with talent acquisition to ensure student academic experiences are shared and evaluated for potential future recruitment.
  • Evaluates overall rotation from student and stakeholder perspective. Ensures appropriate follow-up is conducted with student, stakeholder and entity.
  • Collaborates with legal to establish new academic affiliation agreements, monitors affiliation agreement status, expiration, and renewals as needed. Communicates any requested changes to agreements to legal and the academic institution providing follow up until resolution.
  • Develops relationships and partnerships with mentorship sites from a wide variety of professional industries to create an awareness of the program, maintaining mentor participation and satisfaction.
  • Supports and markets the Student Affiliate Program across the system, documenting results in the monthly community benefit reports for all entities.
  • In collaboration with faculty, meets with students to review workplace progress, resolves any student issues and maintains internal process to track all students in the Student Affiliation program during the practicum experience
  • Builds collaborative long term relationships between Piedmont and teaching institutions that require student rotation experiences.
  • Plans, coordinates, and hosts events.
  • Coordinates and provides oversight of nursing services orientation by working with entity stakeholders to plan, offer, and ensure content is current and available to onboard new hires.
Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field required

Work Experience

  • 2 years of healthcare related experience with strong customer service, collaboration, and coordination skills required
  • Previous experience working with students and placements of students for clinical rotations and orientation management experience preferred
