The Office of Online Programs in the Elliott School of International Affairs (ESIA) supports the development, delivery, and maintenance of online graduate courses. The office provides ESIA faculty with resources and guidance on effective online instruction, manages the multimedia production of instructional videos, and assists with updating course content in Blackboard prior to each semester.
Position Specific Summary
Note: This is a part-time summer position (10 hours per week) that will end on August 31, 2026
The Student Program Coordinator III will assist with project management, instructor support and communication, Blackboard course maintenance, and general administrative functions to support the ongoing success of online programs in ESIA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and update course development progress, organizing course deliverables, sharing resources, and sending project deadline reminders
  • Organize, maintain, and update database of faculty resources and instructional guides
  • Assist with course updates and quality assurance reviews of Blackboard pages
  • Support communication with online instructors via shared office email account
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the operations of the office

Other Responsibilities:
  • Assist with video editing, and maintaining inventory of instructor- recorded lectures
  • Other special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs

Note: This role is ideal for a self-directed and detail-oriented student. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
This is a Level III position, meaning applicants must have prior direct experience.
Standard Position Description
  • The student will assist in the management and leading of program(s).
  • Tasks may include leading and organizing programs; designing and implementing program timelines, goals, communications, and budgets; serving as a primary point of contact for the program; coordinating with collaborators and other departments reporting updates and outcomes; training and managing student staff.
  • Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.
