Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Destin is seeking a full-time spa manager for our established spa. The ideal spa manager candidate is goal oriented, and growth minded with a proven background in sales management, spa operations, and customer service.
Spa Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics:
โ€ข Membership Conversion / Spa Growth- the key to our success is repeat business. The spa manager must be able to lead by example and train our associates on securing repeat business through membership acquisition.
โ€ข Team Building- Destin is a very seasonal location and as such the spa manager must hire and maintain a team of spa professionals willing and able to fulfill the spas operating hours and meeting customer demand year-round. This is both having enough teammates and the right teammates to fulfill our mission of delivering 5-star spa services at an affordable price.
โ€ข Coaching to Commission- enrich the careers of your team by guiding them to success and collecting their available commissions related to spa growth and achievement. The spa has multiple revenue streams that deserve attention such as: Gift Card sales, Upgrades and Retail sales.
What you need to succeed in this role:
โ€ข 2 to 3 years management experience in the salon/spa, retail, or hospitality industry (managers from hotels, restaurants and gyms transition well to this role.) Experience in membership-based businesses is a plus.
โ€ข Flexible schedule - this role requires a variety of hours including some nights and weekends, however we make schedules a month in advance and encourage our managers to design a schedule that provides them work / life balance while also resulting in strong performance of the spa.
โ€ข Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care services and a passion for achievement.
โ€ข Strong, and clear communication skills - bilingual in English & Spanish is a plus!
