Skaneateles Fields Resort & Spa, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton™, is currently hiring for a Spa Director. The Spa Director is responsible for leading all aspects of the resort’s wellness and spa operation—from team leadership and guest service to programming and financial performance. This role will shape the guest journey and overall wellness strategy for the spa, ensuring a serene, elevated, and personalized experience in every detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all spa operations, including treatment rooms, retail, locker areas, and relaxation spaces
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and performance management of spa staff and wellness practitioners
  • Create service protocols, guest experience standards, and daily operational procedures
  • Process payments, track retail sales, and manage daily spa reporting
  • Manage spa scheduling, therapist utilization, and treatment flow
  • Develop and implement wellness programs, seasonal specials, and signature offerings
  • Monitor guest feedback and ensure consistent five-star service delivery
  • Collaborate with resort leadership on cross-departmental programming and marketing initiatives
  • Handle guest questions, concerns, and feedback in a calm, professional manner
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, vendor partnerships, and spa budget performance
  • Maintain spa licensing, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality environment
  • Proven track record in spa operations, team development, and guest satisfaction
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing departmental budgets and KPIs
  • Passion for wellness and familiarity with spa trends, holistic therapies, and wellness programming
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of spa management software preferred
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
