Position Overview
As the Medical Spa Director, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader of our clinic. You will drive overall business success by managing daily workflows, leading human resources (recruiting, training, and performance), and executing local marketing initiatives to maximize profitability. Your primary objective is to cultivate a high-performing team and deliver an unparalleled, luxury client experience while maintaining strict compliance with all medical and aesthetic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily clinic workflows, inventory control, vendor management, and scheduling to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high-performing team of medical providers (Nurses, NPs), aestheticians, and front-desk staff. Cultivate a collaborative, positive, and luxury-service-oriented culture.
Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive the spa’s financial performance by setting and exceeding sales goals for treatments, memberships, and retail packages. Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Client Experience: Maintain an elite standard of customer service. Handle VIP clients, resolve client concerns with grace, and actively work to boost client retention and positive reviews.
Marketing & Community Outreach: Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local events, promotions, social media campaigns, and community partnerships to generate new patient leads.
Financial & Performance Tracking: Manage the clinic’s budget, P&L statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Report weekly and monthly performance metrics to executive leadership.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the facility adheres to all federal, state, and local medical board regulations, OSHA standards, and HIPAA laws.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3–5+ years of management experience in a medical spa, luxury wellness center, plastic surgery practice, or high-end hospitality/retail environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales targets, managing budgets, and driving profit growth.
Leadership Style: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to motivate, coach, and retain top talent.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of aesthetic treatments (injectables, lasers, body contouring, medical-grade skincare) and industry trends.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with med spa software (e.g., Zenoti, Meevo, Boulevard, or Allergan/Galderma portals) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
