Vitis Technologies is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Technology Alignment Team. In this role, you'll partner closely with our Client Success (Account Management) team to design and deliver technology solutions that align with our clients' business goals. You will play a key role in shaping IT strategies by translating business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.


Major Goals and Responsibilities


The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a senior technical contributor responsible for scoping, solution design, and technology roadmap development for managed clients. The SE partners with Strategic Technical Account Managers (STAMs) to translate client business objectives into clearly scoped initiatives, prioritized technology roadmaps, and defensible Statements of Work, while protecting margin, reducing delivery risk, and enabling scalable growth.


This role is not reactive support. The Solutions Engineer's primary value is delivered through forward-looking technical planning, whitespace identification, and subject-matter expertise within assigned technology stacks.


A successful Solutions Engineer consistently delivers:

  • Clear, accurate, and scalable scopes of work
  • Actionable client technology roadmaps that assist in driving revenue
  • Reduced post-sale ambiguity and delivery escalations

Essential Activites Responsibilities:


Scoping & Solution Definition

  • Owns the technical scoping of client initiatives and business needs from concept through SOW approval.
  • Defines scope pricing, boundaries, assumptions and exclusions
  • Ensures solutions are: Aligned within our product stack, technically sound, operationally and financially viable for our client.
  • Attends client meetings and QBRs as needed to present technical sales solutions.

Client Whitespace & Technology Roadmapping

Actively contributes to client technology roadmaps and identities:

  • Gaps
  • Risks
  • Optimization opportunities
  • Strategic modernization initiatives
  • Translates roadmap initiatives through conversations with the STAM and Client into well-defined SOWs

Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serves as a recognized SME for assigned product and solution stacks
  • Maintains deep technical knowledge aligned to
  • Client environments
  • Company standards
  • Strategic vendor direction
  • Acts as a consultative resource when SME knowledge is required across the team

Internal Initiatives & Organizational Leverage

Actively contributes to internal initiatives, including:

  • Service and solution standardization

  • Product stack evaluation and evolution
  • Creation of repeatable patterns and templates
  • Participates in training and enablement efforts to scale technical knowledge across teams

Success Attributes:

  • 4+ year Information Technology related college degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of IT support/engineering
  • High-degree of technical competency in the following areas:
  •  - WAN Architecture
  •  - Cloud-centric Solutions 
  •  - Advanced Cyber Security Frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO, SOC2, CMMC, etc.)
  •  - Advanced Networking Protocols
  •  - Microsoft Azure & Microsoft 365
  •  - Hosted Voice/Telephony
  •  - Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Strategy
  •  - Hyperconverged Infrastructure
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

  • Base salary plus quarterly bonus based on individual & Prosource Technologies performance:
