Job description

Nile Security Solutions Engineer (Zero Trust)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Security Solutions Engineer to lead the design, translation, and adoption of Nile’s Zero Trust architecture in customer environments.

This role sits at the intersection of:

Security architecture
Identity systems
Network design
Customer transformation

This role is responsible for:

Translating existing security controls (NAC, firewall rules, segmentation) intoa modern Zero Trust architecture powered by Nile.

You will play a critical role in late-stage presales and early post-sales, specifically owning:

Deep technical discovery
Zero Trust policy design workshops
Migration strategy and transformation planning

This role requires strong security thinking, not just networking expertise.

What You’ll Do

  • Security Architecture Deep Dive -You will lead deep technical assessments of
    customer environments.
  • Zero Trust Design Workshop Leadership - You will lead customer workshops that
    translate discovery into architecture.
  • Migration & Transformation Planning - You will design how customers move from legacy
    architecture → Nile Zero Trust.
  • Cross-Functional Sales & Architecture Support - Partner closely with Account Executives
    Sales Engineers and Service Owners
  • Content, Enablement & Thought Leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
7–12+ years of experience in:
Network security
Security architecture
Enterprise networking
Strong hands-on experience with:
NAC platforms (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, etc.)
Firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, etc.)
Network segmentation (VLANs, ACLs, VRFs)
Deep understanding of:
802.1X, EAP-TLS
RADIUS / AAA
Identity providers (Okta, Entra ID)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Zero Trust frameworks
Experience designing identity-based access models
Familiarity with:
MDM platforms (Intune, JAMF)
SSE / SASE architectures
Microsegmentation tools
Certifications (nice to have):
CCNP / CCIE (Security)
