Position: Security Engineer – Device Posture and Endpoint Security
Location: Las Vegas, NV (100% Onsite – Local Candidates Only)
Type: Long-Term Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Security Engineer focused on Device Posture and Endpoint Security for our client in the gaming and hospitality industry.
This role is responsible for ensuring all enterprise devices meet security and compliance standards and can be trusted for access to corporate systems. The engineer will play a key role in enforcing Zero Trust principles, working across Azure, endpoint management platforms, and access controls.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on security engineer with strong experience in Intune, JAMF, Azure, and endpoint compliance, who can partner closely with Information Security, Access, and IT Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Security & Device Compliance
  • Design, implement, and manage device compliance policies across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms
  • Enforce security baselines aligned to Zero Trust and enterprise security standards
  • Monitor device health including patching, encryption, OS integrity, and compliance status
  • Implement automated remediation for non-compliant devices

Device Posture & Conditional Access
  • Build and manage device trust signals used in access decisions
  • Partner with security and access teams to implement Conditional Access policies in Azure
  • Ensure only compliant and secure devices can access corporate resources
  • Align device posture with identity and authentication controls

Endpoint Management & Tooling
  • Administer and optimize endpoint tools such as:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • JAMF (macOS)
  • Endpoint security / EDR tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, etc.)
  • Ensure endpoint agents are properly deployed, updated, and reporting
  • Troubleshoot device compliance and agent-related issues

Security Operations Collaboration
  • Work closely with Information Security and Operations Engineers
  • Support investigations related to compromised or non-compliant devices
  • Assist with device isolation, remediation, and response efforts

Monitoring & Reporting
  • Develop reporting and dashboards for device compliance and posture
  • Analyze trends and identify gaps in endpoint security posture
  • Provide visibility into risk across the device fleet

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Endpoint Security, or Device Management
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • JAMF (macOS management)
  • Experience with Azure / Azure AD (Entra ID) and Conditional Access
  • Understanding of device compliance and endpoint security controls
  • Experience working in a security-focused or InfoSec environment
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EDR/XDR tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture
  • Experience in gaming, hospitality, or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO)
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
