The Senior Manager, Software Engineering leads the execution of platform-level software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and technical roadmaps. This role oversees the full software development lifecycle, driving DevOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and operational excellence across multiple teams. Collaborating closely with product and data science partners, the position champions scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while mentoring engineering talent. The role requires strong stakeholder management to deliver complex initiatives on time and supports continuous improvement through innovation, rigorous quality standards, and effective cross-team collaboration.

The People AI Platform team develops advanced AI-driven employee experience solutions by enabling intelligent, multi-agent workflows across various HR functions. The team builds core platform capabilities such as agent orchestration, knowledge systems, tool integrations, observability, and scalability to support enterprise-wide applications. Collaborating closely with Product, HR experts, and Data Science, the team transforms complex workflows into efficient, agent-powered solutions. Their mission is to deliver secure, scalable, and standardized AI platforms that empower teams to build, deploy, and operate intelligent agents effectively, accelerating innovation and operational excellence across the organization.
What you'll do:
  • Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic roadmaps and domain priorities.
  • Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure, and reusable development.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across multiple teams.
  • Champion DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud cost optimization to enhance delivery and reliability.
  • Guide architectural reviews and system design decisions to ensure maintainability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML features and intelligent automation.
  • Mentor engineers, promote technical excellence, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
