Summary of Job Duties:The Collection Development Strategies Assistant will help with gathering statistics and related tasks in support of library collection initiatives, which include the annual report, subscription renewal decisions, new resource acquisitions, and academic program accreditation. The Assistant will gather other types of information in support of collection development decisions, such as price quotes for resources, subscription options, and trial information. Additionally, the Assistant will help with maintaining admin accounts for vendor platforms and log relevant information into the libraries' system, such as login credentials, contact information, and statistical instructions. The position may perform other miscellaneous tasks, which may include contributing to departmental documentation, organizing spreadsheets, and other tasks related to specific departmental projects.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

  • Two years of college
