Position Summary...

The Senior Director, Digital Innovation – Style & Trend is responsible for defining Walmart's long-term vision for style-led digital shopping, transforming Walmart.com into a destination where customers discover, explore, and shop style-led areas like Fashion, Beauty, Home, and emerging trend-driven categories in entirely new ways.

Operating as a business builder and transformation executive, this leader will identify emerging customer behaviors, reimagine end-to-end shopping experiences, and turn bold ideas into scalable digital capabilities that strengthen Walmart's position as the destination for style-led shopping. Success in this role requires thinking beyond today's digital experiences and capabilities to invent what's next—creating differentiated shopping journeys that inspire customers, accelerate discovery, strengthen brand & quality perception, and drive measurable business growth.

This role partners closely with Merchandising, Marketplace, Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Operations to build customer experiences from concept through scale while influencing enterprise strategy and shaping the future of digital commerce for our current and future customers.

What you'll do... What You’ll Do
  • Define Walmart's North Star vision for style-led shopping, identifying how customers will discover, explore, and shop Style & Trend over the next 3–5 years.
  • Reimagine and launch end-to-end digital shopping experiences that move beyond competitive parity and establish Walmart as the destination for inspiration-led shopping.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging customer behaviors, market trends, competitive experiences, and new technologies to identify the next generation of shopping opportunities.
  • Elevate Walmart's Style & Trend brand by creating experiences that strengthen quality perception, inspire confidence, and attract new and existing customers.
  • Operate as the General Manager for a digital capability, taking ideas from concept through validation while building the business case, driving core metrics, creating best‑in‑class customer experience, and enabling cross‑functional execution needed to scale.
  • Prioritize investments based on customer impact and business value, measuring success through experience launches, customer engagement, and incremental and attributable Style GMV.
  • Develop AI‑enabled, personalized, and immersive shopping capabilities that inspire discovery, strengthen customer confidence, and redefine how customers engage with Walmart.
  • Partner across Merchandising, Marketplace, Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Operations to align enterprise priorities and deliver one cohesive customer experience.
  • Prepare successful capabilities for adoption across Walmart's broader eCommerce organizations, ensuring innovations can scale to serve millions of customers.
  • Build and develop high‑performing teams while fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, customer obsession, and bold thinking.
What You’ll Bring
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think like a founder—balancing long‑term vision with pragmatic execution to build experiences customers didn't know they needed.
  • Proven experience defining bold customer visions and transforming them into scalable digital products, businesses, or customer experiences. Experience in style / inspiration‑led businesses.
  • Demonstrated success operating in highly ambiguous environments—identifying emerging customer needs, validating new concepts, and building businesses from the ground up.
  • A strong understanding of digital commerce, consumer behavior, AI, personalization, and emerging technologies, with the curiosity to continuously explore what's next.
  • Exceptional cross‑functional leadership with the ability to influence senior executives and align diverse teams around a shared customer vision.
  • A customer‑first mindset with a passion for creating inspiring, differentiated shopping experiences that redefine how customers discover, explore, and shop.
  • Experience building and leading high‑performing teams while fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
