Job Description:

Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.

Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking candidates for a Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness and Development. The Vice President will provide strategic leadership for a broad range of college-wide institutional research, planning, assessment, grant development, and institutional advancement activities. This executive-level position is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that support data management and analysis, institutional reporting, assessment processes, and continuous improvement efforts across the college. As a member of the College's Executive Cabinet, the Vice President will play a key role in guiding institutional planning and decision-making by providing trend analysis, market research, and business intelligence to support the College's mission, goals, and long-term strategic priorities.

Advertised Salary:

$149,733 (Minimum)- $190,257 (Midpoint)

Minimum Requirements:

A Master's degree plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible related work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of 1) research and statistical methods; 2) compilation, analysis, and presentation of statistical and research data; 3) formulation of goals, outcomes and assessment measures; 4) grant programs and preparation of grant proposals; 5) computer applications to manage databases, graphics, reporting, and statistical analyses; and 6) Banner enterprise information system (preferred). Ability to 1) work with minimal supervision and direction; 2) meet deadlines; 3) present information effectively both orally and in writing; and 4) establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
