Job Description Summary:We are seeking a Senior Production Manager to oversee all production activities within our distribution center, including automated assembly operations on Farason production lines, manual production lines and filling operations. This leader will be responsible for driving performance across kitting, labeling, packaging, filling, and compliance assembly, while ensuring operational excellence and system integration with warehouse and supply chain functions.
The role requires a strong balance of automation expertise, filling/packaging knowledge, and people leadership. The Senior Production Manager will ensure throughput, quality, and compliance while partnering with engineering and IT teams to optimize integration with ERP (SAP).Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all production operations including manual, automated, and filling processes.
  • Oversee Farason production assembly lines to maximize uptime, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Direct and optimize filling operations (liquid, powder, or specialty filling lines), ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts, warehouse capacity, and customer requirements.
  • Partner with engineering/maintenance to ensure preventive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting of Farason automation and filling equipment.
  • Lead production supervisors, line leads, and associates to achieve KPIs while maintaining high levels of safety and quality.
  • Establish and manage KPIs: production throughput, on-time completion %, line uptime %, yield, error rates, and unit cost.
  • Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and IT to align production, automation, and filling capacity with overall distribution strategy.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8-10+ years of production/operations management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise managing automated production lines (Farason preferred) and filling operations.
  • Strong background in ERP/WMS PP module system environments (SAP).
  • Experience with packaging, labeling, filling, and value-added services in high volume DC or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership of large production teams in fast-paced operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of automated assembly equipment and filling systems, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-development skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making with ability to interpret KPIs and financial impact.
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, engineering, and IT.

The anticipated compensation range is
